Did you know… that more than half of Slovenia is covered by forest and the country is home to one of the largest brown bear populations in Europe?

Accompanied by a guide, you can now watch the brown bear (Ursus arctos), an animal that fills with admiration and respect, in its natural environment.

An experienced hunter will take you on a forest adventure, where you will discover the habitat of the largest carnivore in Slovenia's forests – the brown bear – and other forest creatures. An off-road vehicle will carry you into the vast forests in the afternoon.

Bear watching takes place from a suitable hide that holds up to 5 people. Watching lasts between 2 and 3 hours. Warm, noiseless clothing recommended.

Bear watching, observing other forest creatures and photo-safaris are available from 1 May to 30 October.  Booking essential.
