Nanos Bike Trail

This route leads into the forests of the Nanos plateau and before reaching Suhi Vrh (the highest point) returns to the valley to the carters' settlement of Razdrto and the Hudičevec Farm. 

In Razdrto you can relax in the pool or sauna or on the massage table at Mirjam, a wellness centre, while delicious home-cooked food awaits you on the Hudičevec Farm, a farm stay and agritourism destination. 

The route also takes you past the quarry in Laže and the village of Slavina, once an important parish, where the imposing church dedicated to Our Lady of the Assumption today contains an altar transferred here from Sveta Trojica. At Prestranek Castle you can swap your bicycle saddle for the saddle of a horse, or merely stop to watch the horse trainers at work. 

Those with greater powers of endurance can attempt the climb up to Suhi Vrh (1,313 m) and enjoy a wonderful view over the Postojna and Pivka basins.
