Our region is actually home to many wonders for you to admire and enjoy. We are a centre of karstology (the study of karst phenomena), so you should certainly not miss the permanent "Karst Museum" exhibition at the Notranjska Museum in Postojna, where you can also see original treasure from Predjama Castle. Wander across wonderful Planinsko Polje or stroll through the Postojna's old town centre, where locals like to say that every house and every street conceals its own special story.
